HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO FINISH THE COURSE?
The course is around 9 hours of video content and the optional add-on bonus content is an additional 4 hours. It is not required to finish every lesson to continue on with the course.
Most students work through it over 2–4 weeks, but you have lifetime access. Go at whatever pace works for you.
DO I NEED A SPECIFIC DAW OR PLUGINS?
No, you don’t need a specific DAW or plugins.
The practical sections of the course are taught in Ableton Live 10, but all the information you will learn will be universal across any platform.
The course uses a combination of stock plugins, free to download plugins (I’ve included in the course), and some paid plugins used for demonstration and visual purposes.
IS THIS FOR A SPECIFIC GENRE?
No. Though there is a focus on progressive house, the course revolves around dance music, and it’s most common 4/4 time and phrasing.
The examples are intentionally vague so students aren’t stuck learning from genre-specific material.
The information you’ll learn will work across any genre.
SHOULD I DO THE ADVANCED OR BEGINNER COURSE?
The Advanced Course assumes you already have a solid understanding of the fundamentals and can confidently take a track from an initial idea to a finished production.
